Mountain bike riding/racing is a challenging and rewarding sport. It's amazing how five hours on a bike has so many highs and lows but never feels as long as it is. It teaches you that pain in transitory and your capable of more than you think.
There is something to be said for having every ounce of your being focused on the trail, your physiological response, managing your effort and executing strategy.
It's therapeutic.

James Drybanski is an avid cyclist who, like many developed a love for bikes and all things biking when he was a young boy. He spent many summers riding around all day with his friends and later as a teenager started dabbling in mountain bike racing. After a long break from any serious riding in his late 20's and 30's James jumped back in head-first at the age of 38 and now plans on riding until his last breath.
